Chief Executive Officer

As a seasoned leader and strategic innovator in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, Alyson has dedicated over 25 years to driving meaningful impact on critical social issues. Her global leadership, including eight years focused on impactful initiatives in Russia, has strengthened organizations’ capacity to address pressing challenges and promote lasting social change.

Alyson’s expertise spans the development and implementation of nonprofit programs targeting complex social issues, strategic planning for sustainable impact, financial stewardship, executive management, public speaking, and building effective leadership teams. Her strategic vision empowers organizations and their teams to drive real, positive change.

Since joining Mindful Philanthropy in September 2020 as Chief Operating Officer, Alyson has built robust internal systems to enhance talent management, strategic planning, financial transparency, and effective communications. In 2021, she became Chief Executive Officer, where she continues to lead the organization in mobilizing high-impact funding to address urgent mental health and related social issues.

Alyson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Price School of Business at the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Public Administration from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, where she also serves as an adjunct professor teaching nonprofit management. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and advancing social change remains at the heart of her work.
